The staph (staphylococcus) bacteria are gram positive round-shaped bacteria which are a member of the Firmicutes. Usually, they are often found on the nose, respiratory tract and on the skin. The staph (staphylococcus) bacteria are the member of the normal flora of the body.

There is a treatment to get rid of infantigo. It is by giving the topical antibiotics and oral antibiotics. The topical antibiotics are applied onto the skin directly. In this case, the doctor maybe is going to prescribe a mupirocin such as Bactroban. There are also some doctors who are prescribing the fusidic acid. To make the antibiotic is able to get deep into the skin, you have to be removed the scabs gently before apply a mupirocin ointment.
